October News – NSW PFGM Office

Father Kevin Dance CP held a night for the Passionist Companions at Grace Cottage. He recently returned from his spell at the United Nations and gave a most interesting talk on the Earth Charter. Fr. Kevin will be holding another night at Grace Cottage on Wednesday 21^st November where he will be talking about his experiences at the United Nations.

On the 19^th October interested people from our family groups attended a play “Sleeping Dogs” at Stella Maris College, Star of the Sea Theatre written by Brenda Gottche who was a member of our Terrey Hills Parish and now lives in London where the play was produced. Brenda introduced the play on the night .and everyone enjoyed enjoyed the evening.

The next night we had a meeting of our Terrey Hills representatives of the Family Groups of the combined Frenchs Forest parish with 27 people attending the 6pm Mass and the meeting afterwards in the Terrey Hills kitchen. With an exchange of ideas from the 3 Churches it was a rewarding night for all. We hope to do it again in a few months time
